Speaker 1:

Welcome back to the Pure Possibilities podcast. I hope you enjoyed the mini-series of Feeling your Way Into the New Year that ended last week. I'm going to do another mini-series, but it's probably going to be on hold for like a week or two. I'm currently navigating through some changes in my life, some pretty big changes right now, and so I thought today I would just come in and talk a little bit about change for a few minutes. This is going to be a pretty short one, but I'm assuming that it will resonate deeply with many of you.

Speaker 1:

Change is one of the constants that we can always count on, and sometimes it's intentional. We make a decision about something, we set things in motion and we take a big leap. Other times it is unexpected and it shifts our world in ways that we could never expect. I'm personally moving through some major shifts in my life right now. I'm not quite ready to share all of the details. However, some of the changes intentional, based off of decisions that I made for that I believe to be in my highest good, and other changes are happening because of people in my life making decisions about things. So, anyway, one thing that I have been reminding myself over and over and over again is I love knowing that anything is possible, and I am my own approval, because when life changes, whether it's by choice or by circumstance, it's easy to look outside of ourselves for reassurance, for certainty, for validation. But at the end of the day, the power to move forward with trust and curiosity comes from within us. That isn't outside of us, it's absolutely within us, and sometimes we make decisions about things, and even when we're navigating through it, maybe feelings and emotions come up that you weren't necessarily expecting, and so it's important to honor those feelings. Something that has been interesting for me over the course of the last week it's not interesting, I guess it's more of a good reminder is that we don't always know what activates emotions in other people and we don't always necessarily realize what's going to activate an emotion within us. So we can be moving through our life and making decisions that feel really truly aligned for us, and yet those choices might stir up something in the people around us, whether it's support, resistance or something in between, and the same is true for us. Sometimes something completely unexpected can activate an emotion in us. So instead of resisting those feelings that are coming up and those emotions, or judging them because, remember, we don't judge our feelings or our emotions lean into curiosity.

Speaker 1:

I've also been doing a lot of that this week. So what if I don't need to have all the answers right now? And what if everything is unfolding in ways I can't yet see? So the magic of what if? Card deck. We're gonna totally pull a card today and I have to say that you know these cards help me navigate through my days. So I going to pull a card and these cards are available on my website, purepossibilitiespodcastcom, if you want to grab a deck for yourself. But leaning into curiosity, especially when things are changing in your life, can just open it up to all the possibilities, like I love knowing that anything is possible. Okay, let's see what message wants to come through for us today. I'm telling you. Normally they're pretty on point with whatever's going on, so whatever the topic of conversation is. So let's see what today's card is.

Speaker 1:

What if I am worthy of all the happiness, joy and success that I desire? What if I am worthy of all the happiness, joy and success that I desire? Take a moment and sit with that. How does that message land for you? What if this is exactly what you needed to hear right now. I know I did. I know I did.

Speaker 1:

Sometimes we don't feel like we're worthy, but we are. We truly, truly are, and sometimes we just need to remind ourselves of that. What if I'm truly worthy of all the happiness, joy and success that I desire? It's okay to want more for yourself. It's okay to decide that you want your life to be different than it currently is. That's okay. It's more than okay. It is more than okay. We need to do the things that feel good for us and we are our own approval. So, whatever changes you might be navigating in your life, whether it's something you chose or something that life handed to you unexpectedly know that you're capable, fully and completely capable, of moving through it, and you don't have to have all the answers today, right now, in this moment, and you don't have to rush the process. Allow yourself to feel whatever you're feeling.

Speaker 1:

This week, I have cried, I have screamed, I have danced, I have meditated, I have journaled, moved through all the feelings and will continue to do so as I navigate this big change in my life, one of the big changes. There's another one coming in a couple months, so I'd love to hear your thoughts. How does today's card resonate with you. You can tag me in a message on social media, on Instagram or Facebook, you can drop a little note for me and text the show, and, if you want to explore this a little bit deeper, you can grab one of the Magic of what If? Card decks that are always here to support you. Thank you for being here, for being open, for being on this journey with me. There's some changes coming to the show too, and I'm excited to see what unfolds. I don't exactly know what's happening, but I don't need to know the how or the what in this moment. All I know is that things are shifting and I'm really excited about it. I hope you have a beautiful, beautiful day and an amazing week, much love.
