Welcome back to the Peer Possibilities Podcast. Today we have a really special episode for you. I am joined by my dear friend, michelle McGuire, who is a psychic medium and childhood trauma coach and healer. Together we are diving into a powerful conversation and she even does live tarot readings during the episode. We recorded it live and it was so much fun. And before we get started, I wanted to give you a little heads up. After recording this conversation, something happened that was pretty big for me and it brought forward some huge lessons for me around safety, trust and how our beliefs shape the evidence that we see in our lives. I will be sharing the full story next week in episode six of the do Even Know Yourself Anymore miniseries, so make sure you tune in for that one as well. It's going to be incredibly powerful. All right, let's dive in to this special conversation.
Speaker 1:Welcome to the Pure Possibilities podcast. I'm so excited that you are joining us today and we have a very special, unique podcast this week. We are being joined by my dear friend, michelle McGuire, and she is a psychic medium and trauma healer and she's been on the show a couple of times, so if you have been with us before, you're probably familiar. I think this is your third time here, but it's been a while. It has been a while and we are actually doing a live recording. We have a Zoom going on here where we've got people in here which are amazing.
Speaker 1:I'm so excited that you're here with us that are going to be able to ask questions, get card readings, and then we also are streaming into the podcast community on Facebook and anyone there can also ask questions. So we're kind of navigating through a bunch of different technical scenarios here, but I'm excited. Michelle and I have we've been friends for gosh a couple years. We connected through podcasting and I adore Michelle and she has been a huge part of my journey and it's been so fun doing this whole entrepreneurial thing together. So welcome back, michelle, thank you. Would you share a little bit about you for those who you are new to their new to their world?
Speaker 3:yeah, so first of all, I adore you back, thank you.
Speaker 2:That was very nice I receive it.
Speaker 3:So, yeah, I was in corporate America for 20 years, soul-sucking corporate America, in corporate meetings and events, and I was anxious the entire time. My entire life I feel like I've been anxious and I thought it was just my personality. But I did some childhood trauma healing, work on myself for myself through a therapist, and after that I started to put boundaries in place around work, around my relationships, around my life, and my self-worth started increasing. Self-awareness of my anxiety wasn't my personality, it was unhealed childhood trauma manifesting by way of anxiety, which was by way of me snapping at the people I love, my kids, constant feelings of walking on eggshells, thinking that, oh my God, am I disappointing someone, am I not doing the right things at work and my career or what you know, fill in the blank. And after my healing it was very obvious that work was just taking advantage of me and I started. I bought myself an infrared sauna because I have chronic Lyme disease and in the sauna I started.
Speaker 3:Well, I usually listen to podcasts or something, but I was checking my email one day and I came across this spirit guide meditation. I know I've talked about it in my lives this week or in last week a lot. But I was like spirit guide meditation. This is kind of weird, but I'm super intrigued in all things afterlife. So I was like, all right, I'm going to try it. Worst case scenario I chill out a little bit and in that meditation I had this download that I never realized. I thought I never had one of those before, where something told me to do a podcast and I'm like who, what? Nobody's going to want to hear me talk. And what am I going to talk about? Meetings and events? No, I'm good, hear me talk. And what am I going to talk about? Meetings and events? No, I'm good.
Speaker 3:But then the next day I did the meditation in the sauna again and I literally part of the meditation is stream of conscious writing and I literally wrote the trailer to my podcast during that meditation. And I didn't even know what a trailer was. I had no insight into even how to start a podcast. I had no insight into even how to start a podcast. So I was like, all right, guess I'm doing this.
Speaker 3:And, lo and behold, I found Kathy Heller, then met Shannon and you know. But I realized that those downloads were divine intervention and my gifts came flooding back at that point where, to the point where I could no longer ignore them and I ended up trying to make a long story short, ended up going get mentored by another psychic medium who lives like an hour and a half from me, who is world renowned, and I went to go see her to have her help me develop my gifts, and the rest is history. I've been doing this ever since and in this journey, my podcast that I started is about interviewing people in corporate America or traditional jobs who have since gotten out to work for themselves, and I feel like during that process I sort of manifested my reality today, which is working for myself as a psychic medium and childhood trauma healer, and I meld the two gifts together. So long winded way of introducing myself and saying thank you for having me.
Speaker 1:Thank you for coming back. I've loved being a part of watching your growth and expansion and witnessing you coming into your gifts, and it's been. You are so, so incredibly gifted. I mean the the readings that you've done with me and obviously just other conversations, have been massively impactful in my life. I know I've talked about this before, but it was last summer when you did a reading with me and you it gives me chills every time.
Speaker 1:You you had said to me Shannon because I don't know who was coming through to you but you said, shannon, if you could only see the magic and the magnificence and how everybody else sees you, you wouldn't be screwing around. Like it was, and it was like this message that I like I had to hear that and three weeks later I created my first card deck. You know, like I mean, I've obviously been on my path for a while, but it was just like you know, like I mean, I've obviously been on my path for a while, but it was just like we don't always see ourselves the way other people see us, and every time I have a reading with you like something massive shifts for me and so I am so grateful for you and your gifts. So thank you.
Speaker 3:Well, thank you for saying that. I really appreciate that. It means a lot. Thank you, you're welcome.
Speaker 1:So I would like to chat a little bit before we were going to do a Q&A and also do some readings. But before we get into that, I would like to chat a little bit about childhood trauma, because I've personally been experiencing multiple things coming up from my childhood and and recognizing how those things are playing out in my adult life.
Speaker 3:Could you share a little bit about how that happens for people and how important the acknowledgement is and moving through that, yeah, first and foremost, I will say that I believe that everyone, I don't care who you are, has some form of childhood trauma, neglect, abuse, fill in the blank, whether it's uppercase T or lowercase T, we all have it to some extent. And if it goes unhealed, then it manifests in really unhealthy ways when you're an adult. And so ways in which it can manifest is you know, you can overthink everything. Someone says. You can overwork yourself because and we talked about this in my live today actually overwork yourself to prove your worth, over-functioning in every relationship, because you know that will tell you that if you're over-functioning or you're over-giving, or you you know you've porous boundaries or you're accepting things that you know.
Speaker 3:If you looked at it from the outside in and it was somebody else, you wouldn't expect anyone to accept, it's because you felt like you had to act in a certain way to get love when you were a child or any type of positive attention. You shapeshift yourself. So anything that you need, you don't even. You act like you're cool, calm and collected and you don't need anything, you're easygoing, but in reality you're like stuffing your needs down, or you know you blame yourself if someone is treating you poorly, or you completely numb out to avoid feeling anything at all, anything at all. And essentially you know it could go on and on. I mean you could snap at your kids because something's coming up for you triggering you. Or when you do, say something in anger, you freeze because you're like holy shit, I sound like my mom.
Speaker 3:Or this is something my mother would have said you know, or you're literally holding it together at work all day because you need to seem like you know what you're doing or make yourself appear like an authority figure, but then you break down when you get home because you your nervous system just can't handle it. You know, there's so many different things, or a big one for me when I was in corporate, any time my manager emailed and put a meeting on my calendar for like the next. More any time we had an unexpected one-on-one. Or even if we had a one-on-one, I would dread it every week because I was worried that I'd be in trouble or get fired or something.
Speaker 1:What did I do wrong?
Speaker 3:Yeah, Yep, and I know now that something deeper is driving that, and, honestly, the people I work with do too. But they just don't know how to stop it. And so you know, if you're feeling anxious or insecure, like you're always, you know one wrong move away from being abandoned or anything stuck in survival mode. You're not alone, number one. But self-help books, journaling, podcast episodes it's not going to fix it because there's deep, unhealed trauma that you need to heal and process from the ground up and you're not going to be able to change the negative toxic patterns until you do that. And it's not a personality flaw, it's not a weakness, it's just simply a survival response deeply wired in your nervous system. As a kid that was literally programmed to keep you safe. But it is completely changeable when you address it at the core. So does that answer your?
Speaker 1:question? Yes, absolutely. It's been interesting because I've, like I said, I've had some things coming up and I've realized how, because I also agree that we all have some form of trauma. Like when I was growing up, I thought my, my childhood was fine. It was fine. It was definitely not fine.
Speaker 1:Now I realize and I had something happen a couple of weeks ago where this fear came up of, like I was trying to take a train we have a mass transit system here. That's new and I've never taken the train here and I had everybody's always like you should just go do it, just go do it, it's easy. And I had this fear inside of me because as I was growing up well, I realized it was because, as I was growing up, my mom was afraid of everything. She was afraid of everything and like the world is scary, don't do this, don't do that, you're going to get hurt.
Speaker 1:And so I was really sheltered growing up and it occurred to me that I projected that also onto my son. I remember a couple years ago we had a conversation where he was like you know, mom, I couldn't have asked for a better mom and we had worked through a bunch of things, and then he said the only thing I wish you would have done different was like let me go and explore and be free, you know, like even in the neighborhood, but I was so worried that something bad was going to happen to him, and so that all just like clicked for me a couple of weeks ago and I was just like, wow, oh, but it's, it's all of that that comes up, and so I'm curious how do you integrate your psychic mediumship into your work with childhood trauma?
Speaker 3:virtually in person. It doesn't matter. Energy travels and there's something about someone's energy that I can feel viscerally in my body and the only way that I can really explain it is I will give you an example. I was doing a reading for someone back in May and we were face to face in person and as soon as she walked into the room I felt her anxiety. I knew it was hers, it wasn't mine, it wasn't someone past, and I could immediately relate to her and her situation. I knew exactly where the anxiety was coming from before she even said anything to me.
Speaker 3:And the reason being is I get messages, like I said, viscerally and in my mind's eye and through images. And because I was able to feel her anxiety in the way that I did, I was able to feel her anxiety in the way that I did, I was able to communicate with her. What was going on with her when she couldn't even identify it herself. They give me messages in a way that resonates with me, so I can communicate it in the way that they need to hear the person in front of me. So I didn't say anything to her because I didn't want to scare her and I also don't know her and we pulled cards. I was telling her how I was feeling and I knew it was about her career and I knew actually, this is very interesting Her childhood trauma came up and I said there's something going on from your past that you have not healed and it's literally coming out in your work by way of anxiety.
Speaker 3:And I knew it because it was the identical feeling that I had for 20 years in corporate in my job, and they wanted me to feel that they meaning whomever is giving me these messages on the other side wanted me to feel it. So I knew and could communicate with her properly. So it also resonated with her. So when I'm doing my trauma healing work, we already have identified there's unhealed trauma, but I'm able to feel things and see things in my mind's eye in a way that I can communicate it at a deeper level than any other coach, any therapist, and I can't explain it. It's just a God given gift and I I know that it's my life purpose to use my gifts to help people heal, because when I can help individual people heal, we start to heal the world.
Speaker 1:Absolutely, absolutely it's. You know it's interesting because when things do come up for people, it's. It's like your logical mind is like you're being ridiculous. You know why is this such a big deal? But then you know it's it's in our bodies, which is why I do work with you know, regulating the system and helping people into their next level and their next identity. And I think this would be a great time to open things up and we'll start going with the Q&A and, if anybody is interested in having a reading, you can witness Michelle's magic firsthand because she's incredible. You know how I love the collective and like, let's see what the energy is of the collective. Do we want to start there?

Speaker 1:And then it looks like Bridget is interested as well as Carol. So.
Speaker 3:All right, bridget, we'll do you next, okay, so, first and foremost, I want to say that, no matter when you listen to this podcast and when we record and it's out in the open, or if it's now, when this message is received by you and it resonates, I truly believe that's the timing in which it was meant for you. So I just wanted to preface everything by saying that and I'm going to ask my spirit guides and angels and your spirit guides and angels to give us the messages that we need to know for our greatest and highest good, and the greatest and highest good of all I'm feeling a sense of heaviness and anxiety, and I don't know why. It just came up, but let's see what the cards say Hmm.
Speaker 3:So, um, first of all, that heaviness and anxiety I don't think is for the collective. I think it might be for someone else whose energy is coming through, for someone else who possibly might want a reading, but I'm just going to understand that we are all connected in some way and, as a result of that, we're protected. The universe is literally trying its hardest to take you where you're meant to be in this life. The only way that it can do that is if you meet it halfway, or even 10% or 1%, it doesn't matter. But when we get in the way with our ego and our fears and trying to control and our anxiety and just overall I don't know, 3D thinking, I call it we're literally blocking what's meant for us and blocking our true purpose.
Speaker 3:And while I need you all to understand that that's human and it takes work and patience and it's going to take time to stop doing that, I really really want anyone who's listening to this to understand how they're thinking, what their thoughts are going through their head, how they speak to themselves and how they speak to other people, because it is a direct reflection of where your life is going and, in order to get your mind right, it starts with your thoughts and you feel, think and believe is.
Speaker 3:And the universe wants you to know that, if you can think as though your future is here today and actually believe it in your body, in your soul, with conviction, that is what's going to come to you.
Speaker 3:And your mind doesn't know the difference between a memory from the past and or a thought that you have of your future.
Speaker 3:And so if you're going to stay in a mindset of nothing, ever good happens to me, or I'm never going to make money, or I don't deserve this, or I'm not good enough, then those things are going to continuously attract, because your thoughts are frequency, and frequency is a vibration and the only thing that can attract to you is things that are operating on that same vibration or frequency. And so if you can start thinking about the future that you want as though it's here, that will start to attract to you. It's literally the law of the universe. And at that point is when you are going to finally step into your purpose and finally step into your destiny and what is truly meant for you in this lifetime. You don't need to know how, you don't even need to know what it is, but I want you to feel it in your body and feel that what you want in the future is actually here today. And how, why, where, when will all come together? That's the universe's job, not yours.
Speaker 1:So that's, I have tangles and energy moving through my body right now Like thank you, that was that was beautiful. Yeah, all right, bridget, we're going to do Bridget. Bridget, do you want to come off mute?

Speaker 6:Yes, in real life I am a Cookie Monster. Yes, it's a problem.
Speaker 3:It is a problem. Yes, okay, so interesting, all right. So I feel like that collective message partially was meant for you, bridget. You've been moving really quickly in something that really ignites you. What is that?
Speaker 6:Yes, I am doing a complete and utter overhaul and rebrand of how I'm showing up in the world and my purpose and my divine guidance and it's, it's coming through and downloading and I'm like I've been fiercely like creating and recreating and fine tuning.
Speaker 3:Yeah, it's happy, it's fast, like it's really quick.
Speaker 6:Yeah, I was having this conversation with Shannon just before you popped on.
Speaker 3:Really.
Speaker 6:That's nuts. You if you look at the recording. So yeah, Awesome.
Speaker 3:I love it. So, but I want to know if you're resting and like taking care of yourself, because I'm not sure that might be missing a little bit and you might need to do a little bit more of that. What's going on?
Speaker 6:I could definitely do more. I'm actually heading off on a vacation next week, so that will be really amazing, oh my God, that's why that's coming up.
Speaker 3:Sorry to interrupt. You Interrupt anytime, sorry. Yeah, so it's been happening really fast for you and you are stepping into a season of resting, which is your vacation, okay, and then it's going to reignite your passion when you get back and it's I don't. What is this that you're doing and rebranding, or what are you doing? I want to know, because it is like you pulled that passion ignited and it comes on the heels of taking care of yourself, like something where you're able to tap into your body and just refresh your mind and everything. So, wow, interesting timing, like it's all happened so fast. You're going on vacation and then it's just going to reignite this fire inside of you when you get back. It's just going to continue.
Speaker 6:I'm excited. That's awesome. Yeah, that's exactly what I'm creating, is what you just said. I'm creating that for others is spaces for professional women to come and reignite their fire and hit the reset button and recreate their world and recreate their experience.
Speaker 3:That's why I wanted, I had. I felt compelled to be like it's like reigniting your fire. Oh my God, that's so cool. Yeah Well, I'm seeing really good things for you.
Speaker 6:Bridget.
Speaker 2:That's really really cool. Thanks, can I ask a bonus side question about love?
Speaker 6:Yes, Because the dating situation has been garbage.
Speaker 3:Oh, I don't think the dating has been garbage. I think it's how you perceive the dating.
Speaker 6:Well, yeah, it's true, and at the same time, like if I shared, if we had a couple more minutes, I could share with you what's happened and you'd be like, okay.
Speaker 3:I don't know. Well, yeah, let me dig into this for a second.
Speaker 1:Bridget. I've been single for a long time and Michelle keeps telling me that it's coming in hot oh, it's coming in hot.
Speaker 3:It's because she totally, she totally transformed her life and is now doing what she's meant to do and the right person is finally going to come along. It's happening.
Speaker 6:I love that for you, shannon.
Speaker 3:So good, it's totally coming, all of it oh, I had a feeling. Okay, sorry, I don't mean to scare you when I say that none of this is fear. I promise none of this is based out of fear.
Speaker 3:it's okay. I just validate myself sometimes when I pull the cards. So you have gone through something painful, like it was, like your heart was ripped open, but I want you to understand that part of that was some work that you need to do on yourself. It's like these limiting beliefs are getting in the way of what you're actually capable of in love or what you feel like you're worthy of, and I feel like you're at a crossroad right now. I don't know if you're still in this relationship or what is happening or what's necessarily going on here, but I feel like you have to decide if this person should stay in your life.
Speaker 6:Oh that would be like a little past situation, cause I literally just did like a final, final cut of the lab.
Speaker 3:Okay, so that was a choice you had to make, okay, it was done already.
Speaker 6:I hadn't spoken to him in almost a year. And then he popped back during mercury retrograde and I was like you know what You're recent.
Speaker 3:Okay. So that was what? Okay Cause you stepped in your authority at that point.
Speaker 3:Like you were like nope, yes, I see that Cause you just pulled that card, literally just now authority, okay. And so I have to tell you, bridget, because you did that, because you chose differently, you're finally going to see the right person come along, because when you're, when you're yeah, when you are operating in the most authentic, as the most authentic version of yourself, that's when you attract the person who's meant for you, truly, truly meant for you, and ask, and you shall receive. I want you to talk to your, whatever your belief system is. God, the universe, spirit, guides, angels, your grandmother who's passed, your mom, whoever, I want you to ask them for guidance and help through this.
Speaker 3:Because of the version of you you're stepping into and all of the transformation that you've made, You're finally just in your power, and there's going to be times where you're going to have to put your foot down and not stand for anything other than what you want and who you authentically are. You're going to be tested and I want you to continue to choose you and choose differently than you have in the past, and as you do that, you're going to see the it's like you're going to see the dating world just become so much easier because you're now able to recognize, um, you're able to kind of discern between the bullshit and who's serious, when I don't know if you were able to do that in the past yeah, you're so on point.
Speaker 6:I could, but I was extremely amenable and understanding and gracious and I feel like, since I put that block like I blocked him on Lionsgate portal on 8 and it was like I needed to just cut it, and so since then too, like the people I've connected with as potentials, I've shut down immediately when it's some bullshit, whereas before I'm like, let me be understanding. Let me be open and it's like no, you're not coming correctly, this isn't how you do a queen, and so we're not doing this.
Speaker 3:So yeah, amen, yes, yes. So it's interesting because during this time, I do think your patience is going to get like I said, you're going to get tested, but I want you to stay the course and I want you to focus on what you're doing for the world, like that passion. I want you to keep going and honor that and I want to make sure that throughout this whole process you are tapping into your support system. I don't want you to hold it in any issues. You're going through anything with love, anything but I. So you pulled foundations and achievements and for you, this is your last card. This can sometimes mean marriage and I just feel like, as you stay the course and as you just remain authentic to you and you don't cower to your own needs, like you don't cower yourself for other people, you honor your own needs. He's going to be here and I just see, I see marriage in your horizon. I really do. That card doesn't always mean marriage, but for you I do feel I'm feeling that energy, but again, patience, patience, patience.
Speaker 6:I receive it.
Speaker 3:Well, right now I'm occupied with all of my creations and downloads and vacation, so I'll just keep flowing Well yeah, but keep doing that Cause, then you're going to see how much easier this becomes with the dating, because you're just flowing authentically and it's going to. I feel like it's just going to pop in your lap.
Speaker 6:Yeah, I receive it.
Speaker 3:I let it keep me posted.

Speaker 4:I finally got it started, but I just wanted to tell you I won't be able to stay on the whole time in a picture, but I'll be listening. So but I think everything you've been saying, I'm taking a little bit from everything you're saying and it all is very true and I'm going forward, turning that magic up.
Speaker 3:I love it. I love it. It's amazing, all right um.
Speaker 3:I mean, it's not nothing new, nothing different than what's already come up in the readings that I've given you on my lives. But we both know you've grown exponentially and you're growing in ways that I don't think in the past you've ever thought possible, in ways that I don't think in the past you've ever thought possible. I want to make sure that you are tapping into your. I don't know if I told you this. Sometimes I forget my readings, just so, forgive me if I'm repeating myself, but I want to make sure that you're tapping into your spiritual intuition Sometimes. What I'm feeling right now is you're not always in tune with that or you kind of get disconnected with it in some way, and I want to make sure you know that you are supported from the divine.
Speaker 3:I think that you might sometimes forget that, but the magic that you're turning up is completely going to pay off. I see not only material prosperity for you but also spiritual abundance. Because you are, you're going to continue because, like I, want to make sure that you continue to tap into that intuitive side of you. I think you're more intuitive than you give yourself credit for sometimes. I hope this resonates with you. But once you're able to understand that you can't make a mistake like you're going to be okay. Be okay, everybody makes mistakes, but you can't necessarily make a hugely damaging mistake when you know and you believe that you're protected by God and the universe. And once you realize that, I feel like it's all just the abundance is going to flow in all ways for you. So I don't know if that resonates or if you have anything to respond or any follow-up questions, but that's a general reading for you.
Speaker 1:That was beautiful, Michelle. So I have a question for you. Actually, Sure, how would you say it would be? Let me find my words here. What's your recommendation of like how people can really connect to their intuition?
Speaker 3:I think it depends on the person, but that's a really good question. For me it's meditation, and I'll preface that by saying meditation never worked for me prior to doing my own healing work. I think healing yourself is a huge way to clear blocks. When your nervous system is calm, then you're open to receive what is meant for you. When you are operating from a place of ego, control, fear, scarcity, lack just like literally how I felt in corporate America just like literally how I felt in corporate America you're not going to be connected to your divine guidance system. When we're kids, we're much more connected because we haven't been jaded yet, we haven't been influenced up until, like you're, from the ages of zero to four, we need to get our needs met, but we don't understand that we're separate from anyone else when we're that young and so we're much closer to the divine at that age. But then from five to 11 is when you start. Heal the things that have traumatized you, or heal things that are causing worthlessness, sense of lack, the need to control hyperindependence or hyperdependence. When you can heal all those things, it's like the flood.
Speaker 3:For me, the floodgates opened. I was very intuitive and I had a lot of encounters when I was little that I chalked up to my imagination. But now, looking back, I'm like that was divine, that wasn't my imagination, but I blocked it because I was so stressed, I was so anxious, I was so again, fill in the blank of anything you want to say around the ego. So meditation is a big one connecting with nature, grounding yourself, exercising, get the energy moving. There's so many different ways that connecting with animals, being as mindful and present in the moment as you possibly can, will help you connect. You are not necessarily able to stay mindful and in the present if you're operating from that ego state that I was talking about, and so that's just going to continue to disconnect you. State that I was talking about, and so that's just going to continue to disconnect you. So anything you can do to give you a mindfulness practice, so whatever that means for you, is what I recommend.

Speaker 4:Welcome, connie Jo. I know Nice to see you, connie Jo. You as well. I have been on your live the last couple of days so I wanted to let everyone else go if they needed to. First Thank you and just to refresh, because I know you're not supposed to remember everyone. You talked about my grandmother, hilda. No one's ever told me that and that has been so special to me. To me, I'm that girl that butts head with technology a little bit, so I get really distracted with the delays on the lives.
Speaker 4:Yeah, drives me crazy. Yeah, Also, I had just signed on as a practitioner to this studio, but the clarity like I could relate so much with a lot of what you said for the collective and for Bridget.
Speaker 2:I'm like.
Speaker 4:But I want that clarity in. There are so many directions yet in it to go and I am just still so unclear that it it actually feels overwhelming and then I feel like I don't move forward. I've been a Jill of all trades all my life. I kind of grew up that way and so that feels comfortable to me and I know that and so trying to also move out of that comfort zone a little bit, and then I've had the love life issues as well and hoping that I've really learned some boundaries and stuff there and I'm putting that forward. So whatever comes up as most needed today would be incredibly appreciated.
Speaker 3:So can you tell me a little bit about the clarity you're looking for, Cl clarity around your purpose or clarity around my purpose and my work.
Speaker 4:I, I left. I also left my nine to five two years ago now, but I still don't have a business going as of yet. I'm a healer, I'm a coach, but I'm also looking at working with horses. I'm going to a retreat next month that will um, that is, with horses, um, but none of it feels. And the synchronicities I've had lately are so crazy, but none of them are related to exactly any of that. So I'm like I know it's there.
Speaker 3:They might be. Um, so, first of all, we don't necessarily need to know the what or how right now. Um, what we need, and what you need in particular, connie, is just to continue to take aligned action in a way that feels good to you. Okay, so what does that look like for you? Um, I know you joined on studio. You're working with horses. What sparks joy in you in terms of work?
Speaker 4:Helping others has always been to the point where I over-serve so much of my life. I've been that over-giver that we talked about in childhood.
Speaker 3:Yeah, we don't want to do that, we don't want to give our goodness away in that way.
Speaker 4:But I enjoy when people are happy. I enjoy helping people be happy One of my careers as a chef. I love when people enjoy good food. I'm also a little burnt out on that one lately.
Speaker 3:Then don't do it.
Speaker 4:Yeah, I mean.
Speaker 3:I'm not, yeah good. So this, what comes up for me, for you, is just following what. What fills you. What fills you up? Not necessarily other people, but you need to follow what fills you up and what makes you happy. And you could continue to be that Jill of all trades until you find your thing. It's interesting because what you end up doing is probably nothing you can even think of right now. But I want you to take a lined action that follows what you authentically love and enjoy, and that's where the answers are going to come. The clarity comes. It's interesting because with, action breeds clarity and then in that, clarity breeds more action. So the more you follow what you love, it's going to open the door to something else, and you're going to go on this. It might even feel like a wild goose chase for a little bit, but I think you need to to kind of hone in on what's what's meant for you. And I also want you to continue to do the work on yourself, because I do feel like you also pulled the shadow card.
Speaker 3:I do feel like there's still some work there around you, thinking you're not capable of being something that you actually are. So what I mean by that is, if you're like, I'm just not a morning person, but I know I have to get up early, you can become a morning person if that's what you want. It's not impossible. But you're just chalking it up to just you're not this way. This is it's a terrible example, but get it. I get what gives you the like, the shadow, what it's like black or white for you, but it doesn't have to be. There can be gray and you can be one thing and the other. So when you can work on that part of you, that's when the fire inside you is going to light up. But what you really need to work on is not doing that over serving, because it's actually not serving you.
Speaker 4:Yeah, I have set a lot of boundaries with that, especially recently. I feel like I've been doing everything you're saying, but for so long already with still no clarity.
Speaker 3:Okay, so you're not getting any clarity in the action you're taking. Okay, so you're not getting any clarity in the action you're taking.
Speaker 4:I mean, you joined that studio. That's action. So what made you want to do that? Well, because I don't want to go back to nine to five and I do want to move forward, and I did a mandala ceremony the other day and it did feel really good. So that was some clarity. Yes, I think I'm impatient.
Speaker 3:I want to see it more clearly all at once. Yeah, but I also honestly I need to be honest with you you pulled the emotional loss card next to a choose wisely card. I feel like you're kind of there's something unhealed within you that I need you to be able to let go of. That it was hurting you. I don't know if this is from your young childhood, but like there's still something happening. This is your energy that I'm reading and I'm feeling of not being good enough reading and I'm feeling of not being good enough and you got to let go of that, because you're not going to find clarity if you can't heal that part of you. And I just feel compelled to tell you that. Are you getting? You said that you've seen synchronicities. Are you getting signs? Because I feel like the universe is God. Someone on the other side is trying to get through to you by giving you signs and you're kind of not really listening or noticing.
Speaker 4:I feel like I've seen a lot of different birds lately. They come near me and they talk.
Speaker 3:Birds.
Speaker 3:Yeah near me and they talk Birds. Yeah, osprey, hummingbirds, different birds yeah, did you see my live yesterday when I did a reading for the Collective? Yes, you did. Yeah, because I think that was definitely meant for you, and the reason why I'm saying that is the reading that I did and I never noticed this about one of the cards I pulled, but it was popping out at me was it was stuck in the mud card and it very much.
Speaker 3:Whomever the message was for, it was very much. You just feel stuck and you don't know where you're going or what you're doing or what you need to be doing next. But and you pulled today, you pulled the emotional loss card next to the universe card and in that, stuck in the mud card. So the reason why I'm mentioning all that there was in the stuck in the mud card. There was a little birdie sitting on an animal that was stuck in the mud I think it was an elephant and I never really noticed the bird and the message was the little birdie is guiding you to tell you you're on the right path, but you got to stay and rest and take care of yourself and I'll let you know when it's time to move. Speaker 3:The bird okay, it's a metaphor yeah, right, but but it's god, the universe spirit, someone trying to tell you, and you just told me. Your signs are birds right now, and you had mentioned resting, yeah so you're being forced to rest? What's that?
Speaker 4:I have a thing for elephants.
Speaker 3:I love elephants, I follow elephants okay, that was meant for you, um, and the fact that you told me that birds was your sign just validated for me that you're being called to kind of rest right now and it feels that you're stuck. But you're not stuck Okay, you're. You're being forced to take care of yourself and not overwork for other people. I think you're confusing the work you enjoy doing for other people or, I'm sorry, you're confusing that with losing yourself, and God is telling you you need to slow down. You need to stop doing that. I will tell you the little birdie, I will tell you when it's time to continue on, and at that point you'll gain the clarity to take aligned action with that. But it's you got to take care of yourself. I just don't feel like you're doing that. I feel like you're giving you're still giving to everybody else. You can't do that anymore.
Speaker 3:It's not serving you okay, thank you, thank you you're welcome, but I I really need you to know that someone is watching over you and it's purposeful, and I want you to continue to look for the signs, because they're trying to get your attention, and I want you to feel comfort, solace and peace in those signs that you're doing the right things. But you got to take care of yourself, okay, because the action you take if you're not taking care of yourself is not aligned with you authentically, and so I don't want you to make, I don't want you to make choices that cause you to lose yourself. That's why you're stuck, because that's that's the action you're taking. It's like you. You just told me that you joined the studio because you don't want to go back to corporate. Is that really the right reason to join the studio? And I'm not saying it was wrong, yeah.
Speaker 4:No, I also enjoyed so much the participations that I've had there that I feel like that is a happy place. I feel like that perfect air, I'm in a happy place.
Speaker 3:So good yeah, just make sure that your decisions moving forward are aligned with taking care of yourself and not losing yourself. Okay, yeah, okay.

Speaker 5:Yay, welcome, denise. Good morning, well afternoon to you, michelle. Oh, yes, it's one o'clock.
Speaker 3:What would you like? Do you want anything in particular? No, just a general reading.
Speaker 5:My life has changed so much recently I don't even know what to ask for, so Okay.
Speaker 3:Okay, give me a second. Okay, um, as I pull cards, I I do want to let you know that, like there's so much energy here, we have a good amount of people on the zoom and oftentimes and I feel like I'm repeating myself, because I've talked about this on my lives a little bit, but oftentimes what happens is there could be a cleed on where someone else's energy could be coming through and the message could be meant for someone else. But I really do believe that if something I'm saying to somebody else resonates with you, it's also meant for you. There's a reason why you're here and there's a reason why you're listening in. So that is meant for everybody here. Okay, just want to preface everything by saying that Sure.
Speaker 3:So, denise, I feel like you've been going through something, or you have been going through something that's been really challenging for you, um, and you've. It's almost as though you felt like you were going through it alone.
Speaker 5:And I'm sorry, absolutely accurate.
Speaker 3:Okay, but you like you weren't um, it's almost like you didn't feel like anybody, or you didn't feel like you had a support system and so you kept it in. But you did see there is a light at the end of the tunnel, like I almost are you out of this? I feel like you're out of this situation, okay and has.
Speaker 5:I'm working through it, but yes, I know how big my support system is and okay, yeah, because I want you to lean on them.
Speaker 3:They're there, but now that you're sort of out of that chapter, has this been moving quickly, like whatever changes you're making? I feel like it's yes.
Speaker 5:I went from not being able to stand to completely walking on my own, with no devices, in two weeks.
Speaker 3:Oh my God, this is the Denise that has been on my lives.
Speaker 2:Oh my God, I didn't even know this was you. Um, that is crazy, okay so it happened real fast.
Speaker 3:Yeah, oh, my God.
Speaker 1:Incredibly fast.
Speaker 3:So that's you, denise. Okay, nice to see your face. Um, wow, okay, I know exactly what you're talking about. Um so you're now taking care of yourself right, Like you're now, because I'm feeling like you're getting the rest you need, right, Because that's what I'm getting.
Speaker 5:But I'm getting the rest, but I'm also out, I'm doing walking and riding the bike and just living life now that I haven't lived in years.
Speaker 3:But because you went through such a traumatic experience over such a short period of time. I need you to know that, like it's going to take, you need to take care of yourself more than you ever have. Okay, Can you make sure that you do that? Yes, Because I I don't know like your whole body went through something massively traumatic and I need you to like as much as you want to go, go, go and, like you just said, live the life that you never did. I want you to honor what your body is telling you. Okay, Okay, Okay, Do you? So what I'm getting is like it's almost like you've discovered your divine intuition. It's like you are you tapping into that side of you now?
Speaker 5:Yeah, more than I ever have before.
Speaker 3:Yeah, and like are you getting downloads, are you getting like messages? Because I'm feeling like you.
Speaker 5:I do and I have got, I do and I have off and on my whole life, but I've always just been like yeah, okay, whatever, it was just a coincidence, but it happens a lot yeah.
Speaker 3:So I want you to own it because you've got some strong intuition and it's interesting um, mind, body, mind, body, spirit, balance comes up. But spiritual is like really being thrown out at me right now, like your spirituality is really significantly building and it's balancing you even more. So, it's interesting that that came up. This is so fun.
Speaker 1:I love doing this um, I'm getting chills with your reading here yeah, absolutely, shannon knows it all yeah, I know it all and I definitely feel like she has a very strong spiritual connection, and I'm excited that she yeah, she needs to own it because it's there.
Speaker 3:So I and again forgive me because I know I've done some readings for you recently on my lives, but I do feel like I want I. Did we talk about this? We might have talked about this, I'm not. I'm sort of remembering, but like you've had to let go of certain people and it caused you a lot of pain, yeah, part of that is I was misdiagnosed with having multiple sclerosis for almost 18 years.
Speaker 5:Right, oh my. God and I was very, very attached to that community. So it's almost like I've lost that portion of things too. So that's been really hard for me in the transition of all this. Yeah, it's like, and I haven't had to let them go, but it's just totally different now.
Speaker 3:Well, you can't relate to them in the same way. You don't have MS like you thought you did. And, honestly, it's powerful being around a like-minded community, but what I see with you is it's it was almost setting you back.
Speaker 3:staying there like staying there because I was living in the diagnosis more than I needed to be yeah, okay so give yourself patience as you continue to process that, but you have this like badge of honor, like honor what relationships you made in that community, but it's definitely time for you to move on. It doesn't come easy to you, though, which I can understand, so I want you to give yourself grace and patience, and it will come, but just honor what your body needs right now, because you're going like the massive transformation not only physically but spiritually for you is super strong.
Speaker 3:And so when we exert that kind of energy, we have to rest. Like I was saying on my live today, I have been exhausted at night because I been on calls all day, every day this week, and doing the lives in the middle of that, like doing readings and tapping in. While I love it, it takes up so much energy and so I have to rest. And the same goes for you. When your spirituality is strengthening, you're tapping into an energy that, like you, weren't necessarily tapping into before. So just honor yourself, okay.

Speaker 3:Love seems to be on the horizon for you, but like does that resonate? I hope so.
Speaker 2:It's not something I've heard about, but Okay, that's interesting, I just can't.
Speaker 3:And again, the clead-ons. It could be somebody else, shannon hey.
Speaker 1:I always like to hijack the love part of the ratings for some reason.
Speaker 3:Okay, okay. So what's coming up for me, for you, susan, right now, is something or someone is not being honest with you, have you, or I don't know if that is. I'm trying to tap into what this is. So I'm not sure if this was a recent thing, that is no longer, or if it's happening now, but there's something isn't what it seems. I don't think it's a, I don't think it's a person. I could be wrong, but it's like a situation. Do you know what that is? No, do you know what that is?
Speaker 2:No Is there something where you have had to put your foot down on and like not waver on with someone. Not recently. That's been like an ongoing thing for a few years with my sister, because I do. You did pull the foundation and achievements card.
Speaker 3:That's been like an ongoing thing for a few years with my sister, but Cause I I do, you did pull the foundation and achievements card, so it does feel like a familial connection where, like, this message is connecting to that In terms of your sister and like standing your ground, can you? Does it resonate that maybe she's not being honest with you or or hasn't been, and again, this could be the past?
Speaker 3:if it doesn't resonate at all, I just want you to be aware of it because it will probably come up in the future. But okay, yeah maybe it's okay, um, okay, because I'm feeling like is whatever's going on with your sister still happening? There's something where you've had to stand your ground. It's time to step into your conviction and when you do that, as you do that, it's going to breed happiness, like it's. It's going to feel like a relief.
Speaker 3:If this doesn't resonate, it will okay, kind of with the situation with my sister, but I don't know okay, um, I mean, I know we're doing this in a public forum so you don't have to elaborate, but, um, sometimes it's helpful because this message is for you. It's not for me. Sometimes, I you know, deciphering it is really based on the person, but, um, when it comes to your sister or some situation, what are there? A lot of opinions around this.
Speaker 2:Well, my sister and my mom passed away. Our family was always close. There were six kids, and then, when my mom passed away, my sister like got into a fight with each of us separately, but somehow she thinks it's all of our fault, that we all need to apologize to her, even though she's the common denominator and everyone else has pretty much just written her off. And I keep trying to I don't know stay connected again is that what it is.
Speaker 3:So why? Why do you feel the need to stay connected? Because that's why I think you need to, like, stand your ground and step into, like your authority because once you do that, you'll feel better. It's like almost like a relief. It's almost like once you let go. Yeah, like this is around, a choice you have to make. Why are you and I'm not judging you for it, I'm not- why are?
Speaker 3:you still like, and I know she's your sister, it's family. I get it, but for you, what is it that is making you continue to try with her when you know she's not going to come around? Because I feel like you have to make that choice. It's time to choose.
Speaker 2:Actually I've already kind of been thinking that I'm done walking on eggshells and letting her make her little jabs and act like I'm not noticing. So I'm about to the point.
Speaker 3:Yeah, because that's yeah, that's what's coming up here for me. When it comes to you, it's like it's like you're letting her do this, and the second you can just like put your foot down and stand into your conviction is when you're going to feel relief and choosing you over her, okay, is going to really like, oh, my god, I can't even tell you like I feel like a sense of like a weight lifted from you. When you're able to do that and I'm not saying like cut your sister out of your life, I'm not advising that. I'm just saying whatever's happening is not serving you, and so I really want you to choose yourself and what honors you, because this is not it Okay. And when you choose differently in terms of this relationship, it's just you're just going to feel so much better. Your life is then going to begin. You don't need to carry that. That's her own unhealed trauma that she's projecting onto everybody else, and that's not your responsibility.

Speaker 1:Thank you both. Wow, this has been incredible. I want to do one quick last call, so if anyone has anything, go ahead and drop it in the comments or come off mute. And Michelle, I would love to know if someone feels hesitant to connect with a psychic medium, what would you say to them to help them feel safe in taking that step?
Speaker 3:First of all, honor your feelings. It's not for everyone. Also, if you have a medium that you do go see and they put the fear of God in you or there's scare tactics or sense of urgency over things, I don't think that they have good intentions. I think that, while they may be gifted, they don't have your best interest in mind. They have their own, and so I would really encourage you to tap into your intuition and your gut instincts about the person, making sure that you understand, like watch them give readings before you dive in or watch them do whatever it is that they do, and if it resonates with you in the way that they deliver things, tap into yourself, tap into how you're feeling about it and trust it. Your gut, your intuition will never, ever steer you wrong. So as long as you listen to your inner guidance system and you feel good about connecting with that person, that then do it. If you don't, do not do it, that's it.
Speaker 1:Perfect, thank you, you're welcome. Okay, so let's see I'm going to go over to the chat here really quick. There was a question any suggestions for how to start meditation?
Speaker 3:Yes, well if you're not really used to meditating, yes. Well, if you're not really used to meditating, I wouldn't go into like a non guided meditation, at least for me. But all different types of meditation resonate with all different types of people. So I prefer guided meditations where I can do mind's eye work and like follow along. If you're just getting started, that might help you, like guiding your breath in, guiding it out. Sometimes just listening to music and focusing within and focusing on your breathing is really all you need to just get into that theta state of relaxation where downloads can come in. But there's also moving meditation, like I can't tell you how many times I have been on my Peloton bike and I'm getting messages just because I'm so mindful in the moment and what's going on, that like I'm not stressed and I'm releasing energy, walking and just literally look when you're walking, don't have ear pods and don't listen to music.
Speaker 3:You can listen to music Music is meditative but if that doesn't work for you, take them off. What do you see around you? Count five things you see. Count four things you hear. Count three things you can feel or touch. Count two things you can smell. Count one thing you can taste Like is it, the coffee left over in your mouth. You know mindfulness practices lead to meditative states and just being in your mouth. Like you know, mindfulness practices lead to meditative states and just being in your power, so I hope that helps.
Speaker 1:That is really helpful and I I think sometimes the word meditation can really trip people up. I know for me when I'm showering and the water's just flowing on me and I've, you know, got my music on and I'm just like totally anything that's going to take me out of my head and that overthinking, and I also I walk without my headphones a lot just to be more with what's going on. I mean, I personally know the length of a full reading and how that has been impactful for me.
